Fungi on Stamps: Romania to Rwanda, including the Russian Federation

The Romania 1958 issues which start this section are credited with being the first issued stamp series to show portraits of mushroom fungi [VIEW].

Russia (Soviet) 1991 6255 Commemorates Soviet-British space flight, which is what was left of the JUNO mission. The mushroom relevance is that this is the flight for which I prepared some of the science, though due to lack of funding the experiments were never flown. This is the flight on which Helen Patricia Sharman was the first Briton in space, visiting the Mir space station aboard Soyuz TM-12  Stamp shows flags in orbit.
